China’s ‘methods’ of child control has long been a controversial issue around the world. The Chinese government initially introduced the ‘One Child Policy’ in 1978 to combat the rapidly growing population. However there has been strong evidence to suggest women are being subjected to forced sterilisations and abortions in a effort to enforce this policy.
This subject has only been further highlighted by the recent online exhibition by Claire Kern, titled Silent Genocide, and the escape of political prisoner Chen Guangcheng, a outspoken critic of China’s one child policy and use of forced sterilisation and abortions on women. More often than not, sterilisation is done without aesthetic with improper equipment. Those who oppose are threatened with the loss of their job, property or even imprisonment.
Tibetan women are even in greater risk, given the government’s past disregard for their human rights and freedoms. Although the Chinese Government have stated the policy will be reviewed, there must be action and justice immediately to ensure that no women are subjected to such torment. Sign the petition to do your part and end this suffering.

“Its attention to the TWA, regarding recently a violence occurred against tenzingang woman.”
A family of Tenzin Choedup the leader of the Tibetan Freedom Movement of the settlement were beaten the woman with belt , splashed ink on here face, stripped her naked, the attacker also attempted to cut the woman nose and forcibly took her out of her home and paraded her up in public place. The culprit Tenzin Choedup has only fined with Rs – 5000/- and dismissed from his post.
A point was raised by most of the tibetans in phayul forum’s that the culprit Tenzin Choedup has to be not allowed in 1000 tibetans
immigration programme in canada. but now, the culprit Tenzin Choedup & his family has forcefully enrolled his name in canada immigration programme and also he has fraudly enrolled his two wifes and childrens names in two different forms for the 1000 tibetans immigration programme which is totally unfair and cheating to the innocent people of the tenzingang. All the peoples and the Settlement officer of the tenzingang knows about the case but even though the settlement officer allotted the culprit Tenzin Choedup to fill up the forms for the canada immigraton programme on fake documents bases.
As for the knowledge most of the tibetans people in tenzingang are illitrate and rest few are joint in army. so, only a rear educated person in tenzingang, on that behalf the culprit Tenzin Choedup has took advantage of the inocent people of tenzingang and he has fraudly and wisely misused of amount sanction for welfare of the tibetans people of tenzingang which are absolutely injustice done to the tibetans people of Tenzingang.
On behalf of Tibetans people Tenzingang, I heartfelt request to the TWA to reconsider & redeem about the case and give the right justice to the woman and the Tibetan people of Tenzingang. Do please raise the point to the selecting board members of 1000 tibetans immigration programme in canada that the forms submitted by the culprit Tenzin Choedup and his family should be cancelled from 1000 tibetans immigration programme in canada.
And early action is highly appreciate.

I am naturally very sensitive to suffering and the world over , the first to suffer in any situation , are the women .
70% of people suffering from hunger in the world are women & girls . So I went with great pleasure to see an exhibit on “Nuns and resistance” by Olivier Adams which took place at the local town hall . Movingly beautiful .
So here in France , in Paris , we are being shown what is happening specifically to women . This is to encourage all of you . Next week I will have the privilege to hear teachings of His Holiness in Fribourg , Switzerland and will be on the look-out for a presence of the TWA , and if not I will at the least , keep you in my thoughts .
