His Holiness the 11th Panchen Lama, Gedhun Choekyi Nyima was arrested and imprisoned by Chinese authority in 1995 just when he was recognized as the reincarnation of the 10th Panchen Lama, Lobsang Ttrinley Lhundrub Choekyi Gyaltsen at the age of six. Since then, the young Panchen Lama and his family members are completely cut off from the world.
17th May, 2018 marked the 23 years of Panchen Lama’s missing and hence, members of Tibetan Women’s Association organized a peace rally from Dalai Lama Temple, Mcleod Ganj to Kachari, Lower Dharamsala.
