On the occasion of His Holiness’s 82nd Birthday, Tibetan Women’s Association distributed sweets (laddu) to various Indian offices, Banks, NGOs, Tibet Support Groups and Police stations around Dharamshala.
Visited residents of Prof. Parmananda Sharma, Ram Swaroop (former President of Indo-Tibetan Friendship Association), Kamla Bhasin (Indian Developmental Feminist activist, poet, author and social scientist), Abha Bhaiya (Chief Functionary Jagori Rural Charitable Trust) and Kamla Patayal (former Councilor of MCD).
This is the most important occasion where, TWA tries to reach out to all the Non Tibetan officials and Tibet Support Groups to rejoice His Holiness’s birthday together.
