Studies Fellowship

TWA’s Studies Fellowship for Specialized Studies program supports Tibetan women to excel in their advanced studies by providing the required financial impetus. It connects with our extensive Women’s Empowerment work (often dubbed ‘Empowerment Through Action’), hoping to add a further string to the bow of Tibetan women by enabling ‘Empowerment Through Education’.

The TWA Fellowship for Women for Specialized studies was inspired by H. H the Dalai Lama’s advice to encourage Tibetan women to excel in their specialized field of study and to contribute to the Tibetan populace.

Find out more about this program for the 2011-12 Academic Year see our brochure (PDF).
