Tibetan Women’s Association’s 12th General Body Meeting

TWA’s 12th General Body Meeting was held from 11th May to 16th May 2018 at Tibetan College for Higher Studies, Sarah. Around 190 Tibetan Women from 37 Regional Chapters joined the meeting enthusiastically.
The morning of 11th May 2018 was the opening function of the Meeting with the presence of Chief Guest as Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche and Special Guests as the Deputy Speaker of Tibetan Parliament in Exile, Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok and Mrs. Rinchen Khando, the Director of Tibetan Nun’s Project Dolmaling. The Heads of different Non-governmental Organizations, parliament members and others were invited as guests.
The actual meeting started from the afternoon of 11th where the Central Twa and regional chapters read their Work Reports and Financial Reports respectively. The following days were for the discussion of Tibetan Women’s Association’s Resolutions for the next three years.

The last day was the election of new 12th Executive Members for the Central Tibetan Women’s Association, for the period of year 2018-2021.
