About Me:
Meet Tsering Bhuti, Research Media Officer at the Central Tibetan Women’s Association and a proud supporter of women empowerment and cultural preservation. As a single mother, she always believes women can be free-spirited and independent to make their decision to be happy and try to be productive in many ways. She has participated in many progressive conferences and workshops curated by different NGOs, enabling her to have a deeper understanding of the need for women’s empowerment and cultural and environmental preservation. Working as a Research Media Staff here, she is highly driven to contribute to and initiate actions that promote women’s empowerment and support cultural preservation. She is deeply passionate about preserving the Tibetan heritage and ensuring that future generations can embrace their Tibetan identity with pride. She completed her Class 12th from Central School for Tibetans Dalhousie. She naturally loves to collaborate with people and her love for travel inspired her to pursue higher education in Tourism & Hospitality Management. She completed her Post Graduation in Tourism & Hospitality Management from the Institute of Tourism & Future Management Trends, Chandigarh. Her parents and family always encouraged her to be independent which empowered her to have a diverse career in the service industry. She has worked at Tibet Tours and Travels, Norbulingka Institute, Chonor House, Serkong House, and Pemathang Hotel, among others. She looks forward to connecting with fellow advocates of women’s rights and exchanging ideas.
