Central TWA Welcomed Australia Tibet Council (ATC) group of Australians on 8th November, 2017

Central TWA Welcomed Australia Tibet Council (ATC) group of Australians on 8th November, 2017:
Tibetan Women’s Association had a warm session with ATC group from Australia who visited our office this morning led by Mr. Paul Bourke.

Our President, Mrs. Dolma Yangchen la shared the group how Tibetan Women’s Association was formed initially back in 1959 under the Chinese repressive invasion, how it was re-established after coming into exile and present regional chapters. She also talked about TWA’s firm stand on Middle Way Approach, Various projects initiated by TWA which includes Stitches of Tibet, Establishment of Tibetan Nuns Project Dolmaling and TWA’s sincere quest for Tibetan Women’s Empowerment.

She explained briefly about daily Central Tibetan Women’s Association’s working system and concerned executive and staff desks. The session with group was wrapped with questions and answers followed by a scarf offering to each member of the group.
