Chonen Dolma

Education & Training

Mrs. Chonen Dolma was born in Mundgod Tibetan Settlement. She completed
her schooling from Central School for Tibetan and graduated from Dharwad
University with a Bachelor’s degree in commerce in 2002. She holds a Diploma
in System Management (DISM) and a Higher Diploma in Software Engineering
(HDSE) from APTEC
H. She had completed a 4-month community-based rehabilitation worker course
in Kanakapura, Bangalore. She also received HIV/AIDS counseling and
support training at Christian Medical College in Vellore.

Experience:-
1) Worked as an English teacher for 2 years in Ladhak.
2) Worked as a CBR worker for 3 years at DTR Hospital.
3) Worked as an Environment project officer for 3 years under the representative
office, Mundgod.
4) Worked as store in charge cum volunteer nurse at Old & Infirm’s people
home for 7 years at Mundgod.
5) Worked as a Section Accountant for 1 year at Co-operative society,
Mundgod
6) Served as a President of RTWA Mundgod for 3 years.
7) She presently serves as the Joint Secretary for the 14th term of the Tibetan Women’s Association Central.
