Since August, mass quarantine of Tibetans were forcefully captivated in Tibet by the Chinese authority due to China’s strict Zero Covid Policy. Lack of supplies, poor quarantine living conditions and other inhuman treatment led to a huge outcry that surfaced on social medias. In Commemoration of the Global Day of Action, 3 Important NGOs based in Dharamshala; the Central Tibetan Women’s Association(TWA), the National democratic party of Tibet (NDPT), Students for Free Tibet (SFT) set up a solidarity protest at McLeod Square, Dharamshala, on 1st October 2022, protesting against the inhuman practice and negligence served by the Chinese Officials towards thousands of quarantined Tibetans in Tibet. We strongly request and urge the world leaders and UN to take this matter seriously and put an end to this torture.
