Millions of school students have been abandoning their classes every Friday calling for action by global leaders against the climate change.

This year, young activist and adults from all the around the world, walk out in solidarity in global climate strike from 20th to 27th September, 2019.
Yesterday afternoon, TWA Environment officer Ms. Wangmo, in collaboration with four Tibetan NGOs (Tibetan Youth Congress, International Tibet Network, Students for Free Tibet and Jhatkaa.org) conducted a climate crisis workshop with close to 500 students of TCV Lower Dharamshala and Mewoen Peteon School informing them about effect of global climate change on Tibet’s environment and it’s critical importance to hundreds of millions of people.
